Using Takashima Chijimi, a crisp fabric that doesn't cling to the skin due to its uneven texture, we've created a cool poncho blouse. With a wide body width, three-dimensional sleeves, and a pleated back, you don't have to worry about your body shape. The boat neck makes your neck look sleek, and you can savor it for a long season by layering it underneath.

The birthplace of Takashima Chijimi is Takashima City, Shiga Prefecture, located in the northwestern part of Lake Biwa. In this land blessed with water, it has been passed down as an industry since the Edo period. Nowadays, the entire process, from yarn twisting to finishing, is carried out in Takashima using the flowing water of the Ado River. The key to Takashima Chijimi, the "shibo" (crepe), is created by using tightly twisted yarn for the weft (horizontal) threads and then pressing the fabric. The uneven surface of the fabric reduces the area that touches the skin, so it doesn't stick even when you sweat, keeping you feeling refreshed. It seems appreciate a refreshing savior for the humid Japanese summer.
