More information about Large Old Stoneware Whisky Jug

Old, antique whisky jug that I scooped from an Estate with a few other truly old crocks/jugs and pitchers. I have washed it, those are all glaze/stains - not anything dirty or nasty ... I had intended to paint it - cringe for some I know, but! Brown isn't my color. I do so fancy the shape and feel, I have a thing with texture, scars, bumps and bruises and this guy has it all!

Someone will love to have this piece displayed in their farmhouse, maybe in a Hutch, maybe in a mancave, maybe add it to your other stoneware/ironstone pieces. I've seen folks take a bunch of similar colors like this 1 and group them all together and it is so pretty.

13 inches tall, 25 inches around

Look closely as there are hairline cracks at the top dark brown part. Wasn't handy to capture so surely won't be that easy to see but I love to be honest with you all. Still a show stopper, someone surely loved this piece back in the day!

Farmhouse, old, retro, 1900s, 1800s, collection, English, French, traditional
