This was painting after the artists excellent aunt got ran over buy a jeep that looked almost the exact same as the one in the painting , and it holds prominent sentimental value. This painting shows the clear moment of realization of when a persons life is about to end, the vision unblurrs and it's almost as if ones seeing the world for what it truly may be, for only a split second.
