elegant Antique Original Oil On Canvas Board Painting. A charming sunset scene. Image is of 3 people rowing in a rowboat in a rock quarry pond. Colors are rich & deep. This painting is from the 1920's. I am not sure if it is signed. The wood backing does say who the artist is, but I am unable to read it. This painting has been in my family for a very long time. I remember it hanging in the parlor of my grandparents house above the piano. The painting is said to be of an old rock quarry pond in Maine. Did I mention the antique wood & gold gild gesso frame. It is so stunning & ornate. There is only 1 tiny paint fleck missing from bottom right side of corner of frame. There are some minor scratches to frame. The painting is in superb condition. Measurements are 16"×12"×1.25". A charming piece to display!
